LuJiaZui

LuJiaZui is the financial district of Shanghai, where Tim's work is. There's lots of fun stuff to do there too!

This is the famous Pearl Tower. From this building you can over look all of Shanghai.

We went around the Chinese New Year time, so it was fully decorated.

A view from up top. When you are up top, you can have a full 360 degree view, there are floor to ceiling windows all the way around!

Afterwards, we went to "Tom's World" which would later prove to be Hunter's favorite place on earth. It's the Chinese version of Chucky Cheese. Complete with a Rat mascot.

YuYan Gardens

For a Relief Society activity at church, we went to YuYan gardens. It was beautifully decorated for the New Year.

These are the floats on the water symbolizing all the different animals in the Chinese Zodiac.

Tim and I are the year of the horse, so we had to take this picture!

Here is the group of sisters from church.

NanJing Road

This road is like Time Square in New York. It was so fun. But we didn't go at night. So there wasn't anything to take pictures of except for us in the Trolley.

Fire Works

While we were at the Hotel, we were on a high enough floor to see the coolest firework show. As you know, fireworks are made in China, and there are no red safety flags as to when and where to set them off. We saw what would be our "finale" (back home) last all night long.

Notice how they all are going off at the same time in different areas?!

This would totally be against fire code in the US. We loved it! I've never seen a big time firework go off from the top view! This was right outside of our window!

Our hotel had these cool floor to ceiling windows in every room! We just parked right in front of them and enjoyed!

It was at this time Tanner started saying a really cute "oooooooh" that changes octives a few times in it's exaggerated stretch.

Can't wait to see all of this out on a balcony somewhere next year. The boys woke up so tired the next day.
