Lily from China

We got a foreign exchange student from China!! She is from Beijing. We kind of did it all last minute. We barely got her before the cut-off time. So she was pretty surprised to get that call that she actually got to go to America!!

She is staying in Tanner's room, and the boys' get to share a room. They are loving it! But it took a week to get them adjusted.


She has perfect english, and was taught in international schools in China. We talked on the phone a few times before she got here. We emailed like every other day. She calls me "mom"... how fun to have a girl! Now our home is a bit more balanced with girl power!!
Lily will stay with us for a school year, and we get to be parents of a teenager!
