Do you see Hunter? He was asked to dress in all white to be a sheep. And it just so happened that Oscar Butter had a full-on sheep costume to loan! He was so excited about it! I love that he is still at the age when wearing a fluffy sheep costume is cool. He is the cutest sheep ever!
Left: Hunter and Wei Wei. She is the very most beautiful little Chinese (well, actually Malaysian) girl I have ever seen.
Right: This is Ashley. Hunter and Ashley have been friends for a long time, and it’s been so fun that they have recess at the same time at school. Their fun friendship works out well, since Ash’s mom is the coolest ever!! Love to hang out with Allison B!
Left: Here he is sitting next to Whitaker (we combined their birthday parties this year), who is also a sheep. Right: Jonathan and Jared with Hunter.
Here’s the performance. I will have to ask them where they got the music for this play. The script and the songs were very beautiful and fun. It was the best Christmas play ever. And even better that over here the school doesn’t have to worry about other religions becoming upset at this holiday. As far as I’m concerned, it’s a Christian holiday, and it’s perfectly fine to celebrate in a Christian way.
If people in Russia want to Celebrate the the American Independence day on the 4th of July, it would only make sense for them to be able to use the word “America”, as it is in context. Just the same, Christmas in it’s very essence is surrounded around the birth of our Savior, and it’s perfectly fine that his birthday be appropriately celebrated, using his name, and not just ‘Happy Holidays’… my humble opinion. :)
