Happy Halloween

Hunter was a Pirate, and Tanner was a Knight

I picked up Hunter early from school on Thursday, and had his costume sitting on his seat in the car when he got in. He was thrilled. He's always wanted a pirate costume.

Tanner was a true sport. I made him hold the shield for the pictures, and he did not like that one bit. But then he was fine, and loved all the attention. Every time he sat down, the breastplate would nearly choke him, and his eyes got big and he'd look at me as if to say "is this how this is supposed to work?!"

I literally said a prayer I'd be able to snap these pictures before we had to be out the door. I was sooo happy to get some giggles out of Tanner. Thanks for your awesome brother skills, Hunter. Hunter can change Tanner's tears to belly laughs in no time!

So here's the picture I prayed for. I think sometimes when Heavenly Father hears my prayers he laughs first, then answers them. I bet he gets a kick out of the silly things that are important to me.
