I love the Chinese phrase/word "SuanLe", pronounced: swan luh. It's a wonderful word with so many meanings: "it's been counted", it's in the past, no big deal, whatever, forget about it, move on etc.
There's also a phrase in Chines that goes like this: "Cha Bu Duo". It flows off the tongue, and it's so cool, I'm surprised it hasn't made it's way into the English vocab like Say La Vi has.
It means 'just about' or 'not a big difference'. For those of you that live here, you see this in many parts of China.
Sometimes getting things custom made, and the waste being 2 inches too small- you just might complain, to which you just might get a "Cha Bu Duo" in response from the seamstress (and no refund).

Like Hakuna matata from Lion King! I love it ... Cha Bu duo - I'll start the trend here in the U.S! One problem is that I don't know how to say it! I'll have to come visit so I can get fluent! :)
You gotta love it! How about 习惯了...xiguan le...you get used to it! Love that chinese way and how you learn to go with the flow. Also loved getting Trent home with all the stories of seeing you and being in your wonderful home. And oh my word, girlfriend! Thank you for all the treasures!! I have been wearing a new necklace every day (with matching earrings, of course!) and feeling like somebody really special. It's so fun to see all the cute baby things you're making and SO FUN to have new ribbon. You just don't know how timely that is! We've made scripture ribbons several times and with the new ribbon, there's now new combinations that we can do. Thanks for that! (Thanks for making me cool in their eyes!) Love you so!
