Did you know...
That if you vertically split a celery stalk and put one half in blue water, and one half in red water... that half of the leaves on top will be blue, and half red?
And if you cut the stalk, you can actually see the colored veins?
And make a Kindergartner really amazed by you?

Cool experiment and REALLY cool scientist dude!! You can also put a white carnation in blue or green water and dye it that color too! Can't WAIT to see some of the other little projects you are working with around the house!
Had no idea about the celery experiment. We'll have to try it. So what kind of bath water results in a kid having such an orange head? *wink*
