At any given moment, we can have up to 10 people working on our backyard here in China. No matter the weather, they are diligent in maintaining the beautiful scenery that could almost be overlooked.
Our dinning room table is inside of a little bay window that looks out on this beautiful garden maintained by these humble workers sent by our compound. And if they are there during dinner, it can be hard to eat knowing how hard these people work while you are just eating.
Hunter and Tanner love their visits. I love how kids see everybody as friends right away. Hunter and Tanner saw them working and rushed out with dinner to share. One had a pan of Chicken Alfredo noodles, and the other came with fruit and water & cups. I snuck these pics from the kitchen window.
The funny thing about it all? Chinese people aren’t keen on Chicken Alfredo. In fact, they really don’t love dairy in their main dishes at all. So here they are, politely eating so that my little boys don’t loose face. And my boys? They keep insisting they have more.
Who’s serving who?
