There are some things that remain consistent across the world. For instance- placing two hands around your throat is (as you 1st aid certified will know) the "universal sign for choking".
Another thing that's constant around the globe is:
What kids do during presentations while the teacher's back is turned...
They play with her leg.
Make faces at each other.
See whose is sillier.
While the girls pay attention and don't give in to the distraction. **** SEE THE THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST for more about this picture.
They make other kids pay attention to them.
While still poking the teacher's legs while she's not looking.
Start the wave.
Do King Kong impersonations.
Push their chair forward.
Push their chair back.
Then back some more.
Laugh when their moms catch them being distracting.
Then distract their moms. What?- they're cute!
They know you think they're cute, so they keep being distracting.
And then pretend innocent when the teacher turns back around.
****BTW, as mentioned in previous posts, this is a picture of my absolute favorite little Chinese girl ever. I always picture my little Chinese daughters being just like her. She's a bit on the tomboy side, and just has the sweetest personality ever. She's Hunter's closest girlfriend at school.

They are SOOOO cute! Does Hunter learn totally in Chinese now? What a great experience for them!

I love your posts -- I haven't been on blogs much in the past couple of months because of grad school -- but it was so fun to see what you have been up to! You have the cutest boys and I am totally envious that you live in a foreign country. Hope you are doing well.
LOVE the smiles of Hunter. You can't help but have a song in your heart when you look at these! :D
I love that Hunter is in the authentic chinese clothing! He is too funny! I just wish he would stop getting so big :)
