Part Two: Aquarium On The Other Side Of The World

We got to a part of the Aquarium where you are on a slow moving walkway, going through a long curving glass tunnel. Here are the under shots of the huge Sharks. I think these were Tim's favorites.

Another Huge shark swimming over our heads. Click on the picture to see the rows of teeth.

Heather F, I took this picture for you. It looks like this Turtle has tons of personality!

This was cool: It is the gestational period of shark eggs. They are real yolk sacks. In person, you can see the little sharks at each of their stages, until right before they hatch, and they are swimming around vigorously inside. Amazing. I suppose they just rotate them each week into a new the next box/phase/stage.

When I was a little girl, I used to spend every summer day at a pet store called "Animal Kingdom". They had one of these Lion fish there. It was their prize fish. So now every time I go to the aquarium, I look for this fish, there are 2 in the picture.

Cleaning the glass. Yes, we put on a show for him to see if we could break his concentration.

This section was modeled after a white-sand-beach-island off the coast of China called "Hainan". Notice the palm trees and corals... I can't wait to see the real version in person!
