La La La, Robot World (think Elmo's theme song). Today, Tann was sick, so we thought he'd like to get out and see the robots and get some fresh air. Tann didn't complain the whole day, and was thoroughly entertained. We spent around an hour there. There were all these little exhibits for the kids to visit. One was an archery contest between robots, another showed how three robots do specific tasks to build a car, and another was programmed to accompany fireman to put out fires. One of Hunter's favorites was the robot that played the piano, while Hunter sang the words to "Happy Birthday" into the microphone (he got a few fans that day).
Tanner's favorite was the "Robot Show". The MC was a robot. The entire presentation was in Chinese. But it was so entertaining, I'm sure all the Americans loved it all the same. The robots sang, danced, played instruments, and even had a sword fight. In this picture, a conductor is leading his band of robot musicians.
Hunter's other favorite was the Robot that took a picture of him and then drew the same image with a marker. At this point, the robot is drawing Hunter's ear. Can you see the robot has finished drawing the outline of Hunter's hair and forehead?
This is Tanner, sick, during the Robot show. I think he was a lot more comfortable watching a show sick than being home sick. With him in the front pack, he kept germs to himself. The poor guy looks so exhausted.
He is still a mom pleaser all the same. I asked him to smile, and so this was the best he could do. Notice, I'm au nautral this day-- moms for-go make-up and cute hair for cuddling moments with their boys.
