My brother has became quite the photographer. I will make a post about their visit with the Roe family soon.
Todd caught some great moments...
Me and Malissa. I cannot say enough about this gal! Who else could stay up with me until midnight the day after flying into China. And watch movies all night with me? She loved the movie '7 Pounds' as much as I did, and even watched it twice. She seemed to piece things together so well when we talked about all those in depth things sisters do late at night (where were you Holly? You were missed!).
But this wasn't her only late night up with me. Another night she sealed the tiny ends of ribbon (120 between the two bows) for pom pom bows I made for my sister-in-law. Mind you, this was after she lined up all 60 ends to 2.5 inches before cutting them. Then that night she helped come up with the most genius idea for shipping the box. Her brilliance put to work-- and we were up till 2 AM taping everything together. This wife of Todds? We Grannis's say she was well worth the wait. And that's not just because she ate cheese cake, and McDonald's with me without flinching... DA girls we must be.
She'll be back on the 20th of February, and Lisa, who you'll hear about later (you'll love her too), is coming too. I can't wait for all the girl fun!
Anyway, where was I? Oh, Todd's camera.
He caught a photo of me and Kaylee's mom, one of my favorite China friends, Allison. Yes, that's her, in her beauty, no make-up necessary. Don't hate her, she's nice.
1 of 2,438 photos Todd takes of Malissa. She is a good sport about it. Nice picture of the wife.
Picture of his sister, me. Talking. I know, shocker.
Ashley, Hunter, Kaylee, Tanner (Ashley is Kaylee's older sister).
Me and my little Tanner Stu (his middle name is after my daddy "Stuart").
Me and Mr. Stu again. I was going to airbrush the iridescent snot mark, but then you'd wonder where all those long streaks on my shirt were from.
The birthday princess. I made her the birthday hair bows, from Elizabeth and I.
Adayla, Kaylee, Ash.
Tanner has the personality of their Ashley (right), and Hunter has that of Kaylee (center, btw, check out the look on Kaylee's face)... lol
Almost the whole crew.
I'm now realizing that I need to upload the pictures of my own kid's birthday last week. What's wrong with me.
The group.
This part is the story of a birthday girl and her sister. Notice her sister in every below photo.
Ash giving Kaylee some pointers. Kaylee: "puleeeez, people".
Ash still in Kaylee's spotlight. Kaylee: "no but really though, Mom, did the paparazzi have to come. Who is this dude anyway? Is he younger than Suzanne*"
*because everybody asks this, so I'm sure she did too.
Ash getting closer to the birthday girl.
Ash trying to share the birthday stool.
And finally Ash getting close enough to give Kaylee the few pointers she had on birthdays and the Paparazzi. Because she knows what it's like being a cute girl too.

what a great family you have very cute. Looks like a really fun birthday party.
Did Todd have a blister on his camera finger from all the clicking by the time he left? Darling pictures of the birthday party, but the comentary is my favorite! LOVE the one of you and Tanner Tanner Bo Banner, snot and all!!
Allison is cute, but someone might want to teach her how to put powder on.
Okay, instead of posting about Kaylee's party on my blog, can I just refer them to yours?? I love it! I esp. loved the play-by-play of Ashley's involvement, lol, it was so true!!
