Toys! Toys! Toys!

Hunter slithered next to me in bed this morning. He was so wiggly but trying his darnedest to be still (it was just before 6 AM). Finally, he bursted:

Hunter: "Mommy, I'm so excited my toys are here! I really like you mommy! You are pretty! I really like you! I'm so glad I got a Mommy too!"

Then he went on to list all the toys he'd been missing, from his red bike (from the Limburg's) to his books from Grandma Susan and Grandma Calton.

He was just gushing. I was so excited, and repeated all the phrases intermittently:

Me: I like you too! I'm glad Mommy's toys are here too: my sewing machine, paints, fake house plants, clocks for the walls, hangers for the closets, games to play with you and tootsie Tanner, puzzels, balls, mommy's books, our beds, Daddy's Man chair, lamps, blankets, kitchen pans and spices, the scanner, family pictures for the walls...

Hunter: ya, and big starwars toys

Me: ya, and big starwars toys.

It's like Christmas but better! You already know you're gonna love all your stuff.
