1st, to answer your questions... YES, we do hope to go to a soccer game. I think tickets will be $150 though. Yikes.
The people here have been so excited for the Olympics to come. I've seen the enthusiasm in the way all the streets seem to be decorated with the olympic spirit.
Even Hunter's school put on a performance where the teachers and students all sang. The teachers sang "Beijing Welcomes You", which has been the Olympic theme song, where all the hottest stars perform in the video (like Jackie Chan). Then each of the classes performed individually.
Can you tell how excited Hunter is to be with his classmates? He was clapping to the beat of the loud music.
I love sneaking up on a smile with the camera.
Here they are waiting to get on stage.
Above are the FuWa mascots. Each have meaning. They have been painted all around Shanghai.
And on Hunter's forehead (they made them in school).
After a day at the pool (Tann and I while Hunter was at school), we just snuggled up to watch the opening ceremonies with Daddy. It was fun. I can't believe it lasted till midnight!
