China's Green Effort

A few days ago, China announced it's efforts to "go green".



At all the grocery stores and everywhere else you shop, you will now have to pay for all of your plastic bags. They are no longer free.



When our exchange student came from China, she kept mentioning over and over and over how very blue the skies were. She even asked if they were blue like that all over the country. She was mind-boggled at how skies looked without smoggy polution.
