Little Helpers

If I could set New Year's Resolutions for this family journal, I think I'd post more pictures of the everyday things. Living in China, I think I get caught up in taking pictures of crazy cultural things or events. While, in all honesty, my favorites take place right in the home.

Like how the boys like to delicately put spaghetti in the pot as if it were a floral arrangement.

And eating some along the way.

Putting back the ones that don't seem to go.

Then Hunter got time out for spitting in the pot. Really?! Sick. Just think, if I'd never typed that, you'd think we lived a charmed perfect life making sweet spaghetti. You've heard of "blagging" (blog-bragging) but what do you call it when a mom posts pictures of her kid in time out?!

Call it darn cute- Hunter's bro joined him in time out.
Just to be next to him.

Yah, once again, there goes my ideal parenting. Disciplining your kids while telling them to smile for the camera at the same time. Don't tell me you've never had them say cheese with marker covering them from head to toe...

What. Spit boils out. Kids smiles need to be captured.

I was so excited to get your christmas card with your blog on it. I was afraid to send a Christmas card, because I didn't have your new address. Your kids are so cute. Tanner looks just like you. It's so nice to hear what is happening in your life. Hpe all is well. Here's my blog, I haven't updated it recently. http://www.thenessenfamily.blogspot.com/

It's so fun to see how Tim got some great use out of his Santa suit, and to see all the fun things you guys have done. You are constantly serving! I can tell how much you love being where you are. Sure love you.

He wouldn't be in time out if auntie tami had been there, I can tell you THAT right now. Poor little boy. Glad that he's got a brother to keep him company in time out. Is this the time he was 'talking back' in chinese?
