Now before you go on thinking I'm the only nut in the family...
And that I married a left-brained serious finance guy...
Let me break it down for ya.
Santa made his debut at YaoHua school for the first time ever.
The teachers kept saying "now the kids will know there really is a Santa, because we had a foreign (American) Santa visit us..."
..."and now they can never doubt!"
Really, how can they not love this jolly guy?
But it must be a cross-cultural international thing to yank on his beard and clothes. BTW, can you see Hunter's head in the above picture. Clue: he's the only brown-hair child. We will try to upload footage of what Hunter kept saying when Tim, er uh, Santa came in during lunch time.
T: "Suzanne, Tanner has no clue who I am. This is a crack up!"

AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!! He's always been a jolly ole soul!
Hahaha! That's super cute! The suit looks great, BTW. Santa came to our ward Christmas party last week. Haleigh was insistant that it was NOT the real Santa Claus! I guess she's got high standards. ;)
How fun! I bet Tim had a good time. The suit turned out great! Merry Christmas!!
This is awesome. I love that it's a white skinned Santa speaking chinese to them! So cool. He looks really convincable. It almost looks like that suit was specially made for him or something!! ,)
What a crack up that Tanner didn't know who he was. In years to come he's going to tell that story!
He looks great in the Santa costume - what fun memories you will all have.
I love these pictures. One year Adam dressed as Santa for a party. Emma was two and had no idea it was him. When she was a little older she saw the pictures and said, "Is the DAD?!"
Startling.
Tim, I am proud of you, Bro. I bet you had so much fun making those kids day! I love it! We miss you but hope you have a Merry Christmas!
That's awesome! Now, am I remembering this correctly that you guys had this costume made? If that's right, they did a really good job!
Tim looks great! Where did he get the suit? Can't believe that it took Tanner so long to recognize him! Sure wish I still had little "believers" at my house!
P.S. I LOVE the picture of you guys at the top of your blog all dressed up china-style. Really neaat!
Ooops -- missed the post of you and you friend at the tailor's getting Santa suits made ... how cool is that????
lol, tanner is really smart!
That's so much fun. Let's see how you spend your Chinese New Years!
